  1. Baseline characteristics of the participants assigned to the three different teaching methods (lecture-, video- and simulation-based). Lower secondary school is the final part of the compulsory education in Denmark lasting 10 years, adult vocational training is mainly for low skilled and skilled workers on the labour market, upper secondary school (additional 2–3 years) is an admission requirement for university college and university. University College is offering medium-cycle programmes and university is offering long-cycle programmes
